Sky Ball Info

The Airpower Foundation, established by America's longest serving military charity, is proud to present American Airlines Sky Ball XII which will take place on Saturday 25 October 2014 at the American Airlines Hangar at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. There simply is no other event in the Country that matches the scope, power, and impact of American Airlines Sky Ball and this year will set the bar to an even higher level than ever before.

2014 will mark the twelfth anniversary of American Airlines Sky Ball and it will be the best yet. American Airlines, Bell Helicopter, Armed Forces Insurance, the USO, PSAV, One Hope Wine, OnSite OHS, the Westin DFW Hotel, and Greyhound are just a few of the Patriotic Companies and Organizations to support American Airlines Sky Ball and make a difference for many deserving charities that support our Veterans, the men and women that wear the cloth of the Nation and their families.

We are especially excited to have The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport as a presenting sponsor for this marquee event. The DFW Airport has long been a gateway for those that serve in the Armed Forces of the United States and their families and as the home for American Airlines Sky Ball, DFW will continue to serve as an ambassador in support of those whose sacrifice reminds us every day that Freedom is not Free.

In addition to the Black Tie Gala on Saturday 25 October, there will be a free concert on Friday 24 October for military family members. On Thursday 23 October, along with the Non Commissioned Officers Association, The Airpower Foundation will host a Career Expo, to facilitate employment, education, vocational, and other resources to Veterans and their families.

Airpowerfoundation.com also provides detailed overviews of Sky Ball and the worthwhile organizations Sky Ball supports, such as Snowball Express, The Gary Sinise Foundation, The Medal of Honor Foundation, Thanks USA, The American Fallen Soldiers Project, Wounded Warrior Support, Honor Flights in support of The Greatest Generation, the General Richard B. Myers Veterans Training Program, and support for the families of service members stationed at Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth and other military installations across the US.

American Airlines Sky Ball XII honors all of our Military service members and our Nation's Veterans with a special thanks to those that have served in Korea, and include a Salute to the United States Navy. Several of America's living Recipients of the Medal of Honor along with many distinguished guests and dignitaries will be in attendance. We will be privileged to host many wounded warriors as special VIP guests of American Airlines Sky Ball XII. On behalf of American Airlines Sky Ball Chairman Captain Jim Palmersheim please join us to make a difference in the lives of the men and women and their families that have made a difference for us by becoming a sponsor at American Airlines Sky Ball XII.
